These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ayurveda Alchemist Academy website, Thinkific learning platform, courses, programs, events, and related services (“Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to access or purchase our Services.

By enrolling, you confirm that:

  • you are legally able to enter into this agreement, and

  • all information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Educational purpose only (important)

All content provided by Ayurveda Alchemist Academy is for educational and informational purposes only.

Our courses, materials, and programs:

  • do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice

  • do not replace professional healthcare or treatment

  • are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease

4. Course access & delivery

  • All courses and programs are delivered digitally via Thinkific unless otherwise stated.

  • Access periods (lifetime, fixed-term, or cohort-based) are specified on the sales page.

  • We reserve the right to update, modify, or improve content to maintain quality and relevance.

5. Accounts & login security

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login details

  • all activity that occurs under your account

You must not share, resell, or transfer your account access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

6. Payments, pricing & billing

  • All prices are listed in AUD unless otherwise stated.

  • Payments are processed securely via Thinkific’s integrated payment providers.

  • You authorise us to charge the payment method provided at checkout.

If a payment fails, access may be paused until resolved.

7. Refunds, deferrals & transfers

Our refund terms depend on the type of education you enrol in. The table below applies unless a program page states otherwise at the time of enrolment. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Practitioner Training programs
Level 1 Ayurvedic Health Consultant Program and Level 2 Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist Program		 Full refund if requested in writing within 7 days of your enrolment date (our 7-Day Promise). After 7 days tuition is non-refundable, and payment-plan enrolments remain payable in full. The Level 2 application deposit of $500 is non-refundable. Deferral to a later cohort is considered case by case on written request. One deferral is normally granted for documented circumstances. A deferral fee of $250 applies, plus any difference in tuition if the program price has increased by the time of the new intake.
Professional Development and self-study programs
ĀyurBODY, ĀyurSOUL Breathwork Certification, Introduction to Ayurveda, ĀyurGODDESS, higHERself Activations and similar		 Non-refundable. No refunds are available once enrolment is complete. Transfers only. Your place may be transferred to another person on written request. In-person intensive dates (for example the ĀyurBODY 3-day practical) may be transferred once to the next scheduled intake if requested at least 14 days before the intensive.
Workshops and one-day events
Cooking Class, Goddess Day Retreat and similar		 Non-refundable. Your place may be transferred to another person at any time before the event; email us the new attendee's name. Transfer to a later date is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
Retreats and Immersions
Bali and India retreats		 Deposits are non-refundable. Balance payments are refundable, less the deposit, until the final-balance date stated on the retreat page. After that date all payments are non-refundable. Your place may be transferred to another person up to 30 days before departure. Travel insurance with cancellation cover is required for all participants. Accommodation upgrades follow the venue's own terms.
Deposits (all programs and retreats) Non-refundable in all cases. A deposit may be applied to a later intake of the same program at the Academy's discretion.

How to request a refund, deferral or transfer. Email [email protected] with your full name, the program name and your enrolment date. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.

If the Academy cancels. If we cancel a program, workshop or retreat, you will be offered a transfer or a full refund of all amounts paid to the Academy. We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs booked separately.

Change of mind is not a valid reason for a refund.

8. Intellectual property

All content provided through Ayurveda Alchemist Academy — including videos, text, workbooks, graphics, audio, branding, and course materials — is our intellectual property or licensed to us.

You may:

  • access materials for personal, non-commercial use only

You may not:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or share materials

  • use content for teaching, training, or commercial purposes without written permission

9. Community standards & conduct

If a course or program includes group calls, forums, or online communities, you agree to:

  • engage respectfully and professionally

  • maintain confidentiality of other participants

  • refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour

We reserve the right to remove participants from communities without refund for serious or repeated breaches.

10. Marketing & testimonials

By participating in our Services, you grant us permission to:

  • reference general outcomes, anonymised feedback, or testimonials

  • use testimonials you submit voluntarily (with your consent)

You may request removal of a testimonial by contacting us.

11. Technology & availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted access but do not guarantee:

  • continuous availability

  • error-free operation

We are not responsible for:

  • internet outages

  • third-party platform downtime (including Thinkific)

  • user device or connectivity issues

12. Third-party tools & links

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms.
We are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

  • we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from participation

Your use of our Services is at your own discretion and risk.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ayurveda Alchemist Academy from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:
