Food as ritual

How we prepare, receive and digest our meals

In Ayurveda, nourishment begins long before the first bite. It begins in the way we choose our ingredients, the presence we bring to the chopping board, the warmth of the spices in the pan, and the quiet moment before we eat.

On the day, we explore food as a living ritual: how to prepare a meal with intention, how to receive it with gratitude and how to create the conditions for easy, comfortable digestion. You will learn simple practices that settle the nervous system before a meal, so the body can move into rest and digest and truly take in what it is given.

These are not complicated rules. They are small, beautiful shifts that turn an everyday meal into a moment of care, and they are easy to bring home to your own table.

The menu

A seasonal, vegetarian Ayurvedic lunch, prepared together

Our menu is designed around the season, the six tastes, and the principles of easy digestion. Every dish is vegetarian, gently spiced and made from whole, fresh ingredients.

For example, a warming dal, seasonal vegetables, a grain, a digestive chutney or condiment, and a spiced tea or drink.

If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
